The sound

A songbook that crosses decades—without sounding like a jukebox.

Austin reshapes recognizable rock, folk, country, and alternative songs for one voice and one guitar. The result is familiar enough to pull people in and personal enough to feel like a live show.

A wide lane

From Springsteen to Noah Kahan.

Heartland rock, 80s and 90s favorites, 2000s alternative, Americana, country, and modern folk—all shaped into a cohesive set.

Room aware

Energy without the volume fight.

Easy conversation between songs, strong singalong moments when the room wants them, and dynamics that suit a patio, taproom, dinner service, or private gathering.

Something original

Songs you know. A few you’ll remember.

Original material slips naturally into the set—story-first songs with the same honest, melodic character as the covers around them.

Live from the room

Up close and full-band.

The solo acoustic set is the center of the site, backed by years of full-band stage experience.

Good to know

Booking questions.

Practical details about performance fees, included sound, and production support.

How are performance fees determined?

Quotes are based on the date, performance length, location, travel, room size, and production needs. The full fee and any event-specific requirements are confirmed before the date is booked. Private events may require a deposit to reserve the date.

What area does Austin serve?

Austin serves Hampton Roads, from Williamsburg to Virginia Beach. Travel beyond the area is available for select events.

Can the set be tailored to the event?

Yes. Sets can be tailored to the room, and advance requests are welcome when they fit Austin’s style and repertoire.

Is sound equipment included with a performance?

For most solo bookings, yes. Austin can provide the PA and amplification needed for voice and guitar. Larger rooms, unusual layouts, or events requiring additional coverage may need a separate production plan.

Can Austin provide sound support for other artists?

Yes. Austin provides small-stage sound support for solo artists, songwriter rounds, open mics, shared bills, festivals, and full bands with drums at intimate indoor or outdoor venues of roughly 30–50 people. He can provide a professional digital mixer, main PA, basic microphones and stands, cabling, and monitoring. Artists supply their instruments and backline and are welcome to use their own preferred microphones or other compatible equipment. If it suits the event, Austin can also play a short acoustic set during an artist’s break or changeover. All sound support fees are negotiable based on service complexity and venue.

Can Austin host an open mic?

Yes. Austin can help shape a one-night event or recurring series, provide welcoming stage hosting, organize the performer rotation and changeovers, and handle compact sound support. A short acoustic set during gaps can also be included if desired. Venue and event responsibilities are agreed in advance.

Can Austin help coordinate a shared bill?

Yes. Austin can work with a venue-provided lineup or help assemble and coordinate a complete shared bill. He can also perform and provide sound support for the full event, with split-bill bookings available for up to four hours.

Can the set list accommodate venue licensing restrictions?

Yes. Austin can tailor the set around a venue’s stated licensing restrictions, including preparing a SESAC-free set from his broad BMI/ASCAP repertoire. Please provide any restrictions before the event. The venue or event organizer remains responsible for maintaining the required public-performance licenses.

What is required for an outdoor booking?

Outdoor bookings require reliable electrical power and either a covered performance and mixing area or a suitable indoor alternative in the event of inclement weather or intense heat.
